Gen1 had their Spring 2019 board meeting this month to discuss upcoming projects, a new advisory board member, fund raising and more.
The board decided on a new capital fundraising campaign to help purchase and transport both a new drilling rig and support vehicle to Haiti. Additionally, plans were put in motion to expand our shoe collection project and bring on a new Advisory Board Member.
We are happy to announce Mark Dyos as our newest Advisory Board Member. Mark traveled with us to Haiti this past fall and was very involved in the work.
Mark is a serial entrepreneur with strong ties to the corporate world. Born in the UK, he attended the Royal Air Force Cadet Training School. He now loves in Texas and is married with two grown children.
He became heavily involved in the telecom world and built a successful independent business, which he sold in 2006. He then took a position with global outdoor power equipment company as their Executive Vice President until 2017.
Mark is currently the President of Water Now Inc, a publicly traded company, specializing in flame-less heating and water purification. Additionally, he is concentrating work on alternate heating methods to support energy deficient areas and an active consultant on reverse osmosis technology.
We are happy to have Mark on our team and look forward to working with him as we continue to develop Gen1.
